Kirkstall Harriers Win In 2 Categories at the PECO Relays.
The club representative team (Colin, Emma & Paul M) won today, as did our female open team (Marion, Harriet & Alyson). Well done them all. Each were awarded a bottle of wine and a pair of running socks for their efforts. This is a great result for the club and it was a very an enjoyable event, if not a little cold in the wind!. There are more than usual as our camera was called into service when the official one ran out of battery power.
In the competition between the two XC leagues the results were:
Male Open – West Yorkshire XC League
Female Open – PECO XC League (including our own Rachel Pilling)
Male V40 – West Yorkshire XC League
Female V40 – PECO XC League
Male V50 – West Yorkshire XC League
Female V50 – West Yorkshire XC League
So, the overall trophy went to the West Yorkshire XC League. We will have to even things up next year!
