A quiet race, and one which proved to be very lucrative for CC points: by just finishing the course you would have taken home 45 points. Only 5 members were out, possibly due to clashes with other slightly more popular races (GNR?) and our one fell race of the year also landed on the day of the Yorkshireman.

Timothe Dazin continued his return to running after the Golden Mile & took 50 points, followed by Paul Glover & Kieran O’Brien.

The top two in the league remain as Paul Newton and Patrick Nesden. Kieran O’Brien has given a welcome shake up of the podium by sneaking into third place, Adam Rhodes now in 4th.

Race 16 is the Value of York Half Marathon, this Sunday, 20th September (entries are now full & the deadline has now passed for completing transfers). Lots of harriers entered for this one, expecting to see a lot of new PB’s & a tough fight for CC points!

Any errors, omissions or general queries drop me a line on s.w.webb1@gmail.com or find me on Facebook. Next bonus update will follow the Yorkshire marathon.

15 races in and we have had 95 harriers take part.
