Leeds Country Way 2013

There was a lot of purple on display at the Leeds Country Way! Our 3 teams (36 runners) did the club proud.

Thanks to Adam for doing the difficult job of organising the teams.

A record 48 teams took part.

The results will be posted when available but we do know that our “A” team came 8th overall which is a great achievement. I think we also came first in the Pie Eating competition!

Well done to all who ran for the club. Thanks also to those who came out to support the teams.

The ladies team have gained one place in the “Rest to Count” Table and move into 3rd . They remain 4th in “All to Count” and 5th in the “First 4 to Count”.

The mens team gained a place on the “First 4 to Count” table, moving up to 6th place. They slipped 2 places in the “All to Count” down to 7th and remain 7th in the “Rest to Count.

We need a big push for a big turn out at the last vets race of the year at Spenborough in November.
