A great time was had by all on Friday night at the 30th Anniversary Party.
Many thanks to Sam “Broomio” Broome for organising the party and the free t-shirts. She did an excellent job and everything went very smoothly. The anniversary cake & buns was a vey nice final touch.
Also, despite leaving the organisation of the outdoor games until two days before the event, Alan Brydon and Andrew Kirby did a great job and provided outdoor entertainment “Brydon/Kirby” style. It was good to see the evergreen “Ladder” game is still popular!
Last but not least, the very professional Steve Groves on the “decks” all night and filling the dance floor for the whole time made the night a massive success. Thanks Steve for your hard work. If I need to book a DJ anytime I think I know where to find a great one!
A few came to an after party at the Glovers and extended the event thought to 3.00am, so the KH attendance at parkrun on Saturday morning was down I think.
There are many anniversary t-shirts left to collect, so to those who have not got theirs yet, please arrange to collect from training or at a race in the near future.
