The first of the Winter TT’s this evening with a good turnout of both new and familiar faces. I have to apologise to the new members whose names I’ve are spelt terribly & not included your surnames in the results, please fire across your details & I will happily update.

26 members took part and we also had a great turnout of much needed support on the course. Full results available at this link, including your actual run time.

Reasonably good conditions for an eyes out 5k, cold, dry & no wind. Unfortunately none of those made the course any less lumpy! Adam Nodwell was first across the line followed by Justin Newall & then Nathan (sorry, no surname yet).

Predictions will be revised in advance of the next TT based on your run time this evening, and to make it a little harder on you most likely.

Thanks to all those who took part, marshalled, supported & organised. The next one will be in the second week of November (I think), likely to be a Monday. Check the training schedule when it is published at the end of the month.

Remember, this is a winter series & points are accumulated based on your finish position in each TT, with your best 4 results of 6 to count (I think). Overall winners will receive much coveted glory & probably a trophy/plaque of some form. Having hunted around the website I can’t actually find the exact rules, so I’ll get something pulled together over the coming weeks summarising the ins & outs of it, unless someone else can point me in the right direction?

Historic 5k TT results are available here.
