What a mud fest that was! After a few days of non-stop rain, were we expecting anything different? The first race of the PECO Cross Country season has come and gone. Some excellent performances were had, on what was an exceptionally muddy and wet course. 33 Harriers put on their trail shoes (remember to clean them before Middleton Park in December!) with the Men in the Premier Division and Women looking to re-gain promotion from the First Division. It also coincided with the final solo race of this year’s Club Championship. With it all on the line, here are the results from the RaceBest website:

With Paul Chapman recently completing his 4th parkrun, he adds another 25 bonus points to his tally and moves him in between the small gap between James Nundy (still first!) and Liz Walker (now in 3rd). The full table can be found here:
Not in the top 3? Don’t worry, there’s still a chance to get in. We have 2 remaining races to dish points out for:
- Even Splits 5k series at the Brownlee Centre – Weds 27th November is the final event – no entries on the night.
- Wildcard entry – any race that doesn’t count to any of your existing points tally (races and bonus points) can be entered with your chance of getting points!
