The KA7 is a 7 mile multi terrain course starting and finishing within the<\/h3>\n

Abbey grounds. A bottle of beer to all finishers.<\/h3>\n

Race HQ is : Abbey Visitor Centre, Abbey Rd, Kirkstall, LS5 3EH. Registration opens at 9am.<\/span><\/h3>\n

  RunEvents Race Licence : TBA<\/h3>\n

 Entries close at 18.00 on 18 September.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Online entry is via RACEBEST and is open now (link below)<\/span><\/h3>\n

Entry fees are \u00a315 affiliated and \u00a317 unaffiliated.<\/p>\n

Note: There will be no entries available on the day of the race.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Note: No refunds or deferrals available. If the race is cancelled for any reason, all entrants will be offered a free entry to the 2026 event. Free transfer of race entry to another person will be possible up to 10th September 2025 by emailing your full details and those of the transfer recipient to kirkstallharriers@gmail.com. Note that if transferring an affiliated entry to an unaffiliated runner, then an additional fee of \u00a32 will be due.<\/h3>\n

You will be able to enter the event online through to 18:00 on 19 Sept (unless the race entry limit of 300 is reached earlier)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

 Race numbers will be available for collection on the day of the race from the race HQ at Kirkstall Abbey from 9am.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The course is not<\/b> <\/b>suitable for wheelchairs and is uneven in parts and slippery if wet.<\/h3>\n

Headphones of any type are not allowed.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Prizes for 1st male & female V40,V45, V50,V55, V60, V65, V70<\/h3>\n

Team (3 runners) prizes for 1st male club\/team and 1st female club\/team<\/h3>\n

Stephen Blades Trophy for the first local runner<\/h3>\n

All trophies\/prizes presented at the race HQ approx 11:15am<\/h3>\n

COURSE RECORDS<\/strong><\/p>\n

The course changed to its current form in 2017. The course records since then are:<\/p>\n

Male: James Saxton – Wakefield & District H & AC – 37:56 (2018)<\/p>\n

Female: Faye Kirkby – Pudsey Pacers – 43:31 (2023)<\/p>\n
