Last weekend was a busy one for many of our members. It started on Saturday with Emma Lavelle-Wood and Neil Marshall recording new 5k PBs at parkrun.<\/p>\n

On Sunday we had many running in the Yorkshire Marathon. There were a few first time marathoners and lots of new PBs. Some great performances. Well done to you all.<\/p>\n

We also had a club championship race at the Withins Skyline fell race on Howarth Moor. Only 4 members ventured out to take part but all will have earned high points in the championship for there efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

On top of all that, the Yorkshire Vets were holding their annual track & field competition at Spenborough. Normally we only have one keen member at this event (Adam M), but this year he was joined by Anna M, Lucy, Collette, Alyson & Chris G. All had a great time trying out Hammer, Discus, Shot Putt, Javelin, Long Jump, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m and 400m hurdles. Results not yet available but photos here<\/a><\/p>\n
