This event is not for the faint hearted!! The course is rocky and has many dark sections in dense woodland making it hard to pick out the bad ground conditions. At just under 5 miles it has 3 challenging climbs and never lets to get you breath back from the first hill at 200m from the start. The conditions led to many fallers including our own Karen Longfellow. Patrick made his way around without incident.<\/p>\n

Despite the above, 5 of our vet ladies and 8 men made it over to Greetlend for the 7.30pm start.<\/p>\n

The highlights in the results are:<\/p>\n

Niamh Jackson 3rd lady finisher and second F35<\/p>\n

Emma Lavelle-Wood 2nd F40<\/p>\n

This race leaves the ladies team in 5th in all three leagues and the men 4th in all three leagues.<\/p>\n
