MEDICAL RISK ASSESSMENT
The KA7 is a 7 mile multi terrain course starting and finishing within the
Abbey grounds. A bottle of Kirkstall Brewery beer and a choice of medal or chocolate to all finishers.
Race HQ is : Abbey Visitor Centre, Abbey Rd, Kirkstall, LS5 3EH. Registration opens at 9am.

Entries close at 9am on 23 September.

Note: No refunds or deferrals available. If the race is cancelled for any reason, all entrants will be offered a free entry to the 2024 event. Free transfer of race entry to another person will be possible up to 22nd September by emailing your full details and those of the transfer recipient to kirkstallharriers@gmail.com. Note that if transferring an affiliated entry to an unaffiliated runner, then an additional fee of £2 will be due.
You will be able to enter the event online through to 9am on 23 Sept (unless the race entry limit of 450 is reached earlier)
Race numbers will be available for collection on the day of the race from the race HQ at Kirkstall Abbey from 9am.
The course is not suitable for wheelchairs and is uneven in parts and slippery if wet
Trophies and prizes for : 1st male and female.
Prizes for 2nd, 3rd male and female
Prizes for 1st male & female V40,V45, V50,V55, V60, V65, V70
Team (3 runners) prizes for 1st male club/team and 1st female club/team
Stephen Blades Trophy for the first local runner
All trophies/prizes presented at the race HQ approx 11:15am
COURSE RECORDS
The course changed to its current form in 2017. The course records since then are:
Male: James Saxton – Wakefield & District H & AC – 37:56 (2018)
Female: Helen Smith – Ribble Valley Harriers – 43:42 (2019)
Final event details will be emailed to all runners on approx. 7th Sept and posted at the top of this webpage.
