The weather did not put off our members this weekend but cancelled races did get some of them in the end.
Helsby HM
Ten members travelled all the way to Helsby only to find that the race had been cancelled due to ice. Maybe next year?
Brass Monkey HM
Four of our members actually managed to get a place in this massively over-subscribed race. That is an achievement worth celebrating on it’s own! On top of that, the race was not cancelled, although reports suggest that maybe it should have been.

Stanbury Splash
10 members carefully made their way over to Haworth to run the fell race in deep snow. A great effort on a cold and snowy day.
