January 2025 time trial
We had 12 brave souls on a cold (3 degrees) and damp night – and Leeds United were playing at home and on tv. There were 9 official runners, 8 familiar faces plus Sean Scanlon – a blast from the past (for me anyway). It was also nice to see John Hutchinson running the route albeit fractionally shorter and with an earlier start time so he did not have to miss his usual meeting at the Bridge. There was also Ben and Jo who were both unable to run, helping significantly with the important sorting of the start times and results respectively.
First over the line was Lucy with a run time of 23.34, shortly followed by Adam, who set off last with 20.33 and Jack 21.38. These were followed by Lloydd, Sean, Matt, Leanne, Henry and Patrick. Despite Patrick starting off at a different time to ensure the other runners were not waiting too long – the time differential would still mean he would be last over the line. Of the 8 runners starting under the handicapped times – only 2 minutes 40 seconds separated the 1st and last home. Results spreadsheet link below.
