We’re half way through the year and 2026’s Club Championship! Imagine that!
Last week saw 14 Harriers take on the Hyde Park Summer Mile, a one mile race from our neighbours Hyde Park Harriers. It’s always an excellent event and with the numbers meant we had an excellent cheer squad and representation in almost all the heats in the heat! Everyone had did a superb job considering the weather. Ryan was our top performer running in the final heat with some of the top talent in Leeds, definitely held his own. Everyone got under 8 minutes which is an still an excellent time for the mile! Jack Masey took the 50 points in the championship, running a whopping 35 seconds quicker than Power of 10 thought!
We also had 11 Harriers at our friends Horsforth Harriers race, Apperley Bridge Canter. Simon taking the leading Harrier with Joel, Rob and Ben close behind. Gill Booth and Ben Coldwell took home the points in the club championship with their superb performances!
As ever, bonuses have been applied with the fantastic performances in the spring Marathons – if I have missed anyone off, please let me know and I sincerely apologise!
All this means 31 Harriers have taken part in at least one of the 13 races this year, 2 completing 4 out of 6-to-count already!
