Last weekend was a busy one for many of our members. It started on Saturday with Emma Lavelle-Wood and Neil Marshall recording new 5k PBs at parkrun.
On Sunday we had many running in the Yorkshire Marathon. There were a few first time marathoners and lots of new PBs. Some great performances. Well done to you all.

We also had a club championship race at the Withins Skyline fell race on Howarth Moor. Only 4 members ventured out to take part but all will have earned high points in the championship for there efforts.

On top of all that, the Yorkshire Vets were holding their annual track & field competition at Spenborough. Normally we only have one keen member at this event (Adam M), but this year he was joined by Anna M, Lucy, Collette, Alyson & Chris G. All had a great time trying out Hammer, Discus, Shot Putt, Javelin, Long Jump, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m and 400m hurdles. Results not yet available but photos here
