On Friday we entered 6 teams into the 3 leg relay race around Washburn and Swinsty reservoirs. 74 teams and 10 billion midges took part in the event.
Our fast ladies team (Team A) not only won their category but set the record for the fastest ladies relay team since the event started in 2008 with a total time of 01:08:05. Very impressive performances from Emma Ballantyne, Niamh Jackson and Alice Murray-Gourlay who were presented with a trophy and bottles of wine for their efforts. Well done ladies.
Our fast mens team (Team E) came in 12th overall which is a great performance.
