It’s the final straight! One race to go, plus the wildcard! Who’s going to take the shield?
December’s update brings in all the latest marathon, parkrun and volunteer bonuses – if you think you’re missing any, please let Malcolm Taylor or the Kirkstall Harriers inbox know ASAP please, plus Abbey Dash and the York and Leeds 5k Series completion.
We had 10 Harriers complete at least one 5k Even Splits event at York or Leeds, some fabulous times to boot! They’re back on next year, it’s a fun, competitive event series that spans across the whole year with a great chance of a PB. Think parkrun, but a race! Pit yourself against the best in Leeds and York! Ryan’s 16:05 and the amount of people under sub 20 – wow!
We also had 17 Harriers complete the Abbey Dash in almost wintery conditions, with lots of cheering from faithful at our home at Kirkstall Leisure Centre, great work! Hope you got the PBs you were looking for.
